Trust is the currency of relationships.

The Sanctuary Skate Ministry featured in The Christian Post
The Sanctuary Skate Ministry featured in The Christian Post. Skateboarding and ministry have always went hand in hand for me since the day I experienced the power of Jesus Christ! Click the link above and see what God is doing with our youth ministry.
It's encouraging for me to read this article because this is exactly how I came to Christ. I wanted to skate, that's all....and as a result of skating at a church in San Jose in the early nineties...I heard the Gospel and the rest is history. God is calling and reaching out with open arms to all people in every culture, sub-culture, ethnic group, country, etc. God is moving. Jump in and enjoy the ride.
My first Board...Kevin Ancell Art
I was stoked that Kevin Ancell did the art work for it. I think he was working for DLX at the time. We got sued for the artwork though because the metalic guy in the piece looked like some artwork one of his art teachers did. The teacher found out about it and sued. I felt bummed for DLX but I was stoked on the work.
Skateboarding in LA...Stoner Plaza...another park.
Parks are fun...but it seems like that's all people skate nowadays....I miss the days of actually going skating in the streets...that's actually what street skaters did back in the day....there were no parks like there are now...they're almost too perfect. It's all good. Skating is still skating.

My first photo in Thrasher
I grew up skating with Ed and Salman in San Jose. We skated for Sessions skateshop and entered the Quartermaster Cup at the Powell Warehouse; it was a huge skateshop contest they did for a few years back in the early nineties. It was a huge deal for me back then coming up with these dudes. They spelled Ed's name and my name wrong....it's all good, we were just a couple groms stoked to be in Thrasher. Funny....I'm rockin' the helmet for the photo.
